Project aim
The aim of this project is to develop a system for addressing time scheduling problems with the use of Genetic Algorithm. As we mentioned there are so many problems arising when making time tables in manual way. And also there are difficulties with existing time tabling systems used in Sri Lanka. So our aim is to build up a system as a solution for all kind of problems that facing in Sri Lankan schools and covers a maximum of functional and non-functional requirements for School timetabling.
Since this system is an automated one the authorized admin can easily make the time table without any clashes and can change according to situation. So our time table will be very flexible one. By mapping teachers daily attendances and their leaving details admin can easily make relief time table also.
Objective
Our objective is to do a Research on factors, that consider in preparing time tables in manual way and automate that process using Genetic algorithms that can solve time scheduling problems. So we hope to design and implement web based automated time tabling system for Sri Lankan schools
